A zine on an urban legend: Chain Letters
— such letters would convince recipients to copy the message and pass it on to more people or else a terrible consequence would likely befall them and/or their loved ones.
I decided to come up with my own narrative based on chain letters, my own take on the urban legend through the point of view of someone who receives a chain letter and "investigates" it.

Short summary of the zine's story:
A boy, the narrator of this story, finds a letter hidden between books on his grandma's old bookshelf. when he reads it, he finds out about a witch's curse placed onto whoever reads the contents of the letter and about three things he has to do to in order to break the curse. He feels off about the letter and decides to indulge in the letter's demands — place flowers at a grave at midnight, solve a riddle and create three copies of the same letter to be passed on, which readers can follow as well. However, he feels extremely sick throughout his journey, likely due to the curse, and does not complete the final step to send letters out to people, not wanting them to feel as terrible as he does.
